The Stafford Soap Box Derby is a community event for youth age 7 to 20 to compete in gravity racing using three different divisions of cars  based on ago and weight of the driver. It is based on principles of STEM, competition, sportsmanship, friendship and community. It is an invaluable family and community event. This is the 28th anniversary of racing in the Rappahannock Region.
